Marina Hasselberg

Marina completed her Master's in Literature and Performance at the University of Western Ontario in 2010, having passed her final recital with distinction. In June of the same year, she moved to Vancouver, where she runs a cello studio, and teaches at the Mozart School of Music (UBC Village) and Ava Music (North Vancouver). Marina has taught in several music academies and conservatories in Canada and Portugal, and has been for the last decade an active performer, with a special interest on chamber music. In addition to the modern cello, she started playing the baroque cello in 2008.

Marina plays a beautiful venetian cello from 1860.
